Recombinant Human Insulin-like Growth Factor-binding Protein 1/IGFBP1 (C-6His)
Recombinant Human Insulin-like Growth Factor-binding Protein 1 is produced by our Mammalian expression system and the target gene encoding Ala26-Asn259 is expressed with a 6His tag at the C-terminus. Bon Opus Cat. #CU66
BackgroundInsulin-like growth factor-binding protein 1 (IGFBP1) is encoded by 259 amino acid (aa) with 25 aa residue signal peptide that is processed to generate the 234 aa residue mature protein. IGF-binding proteins prolong the half-life of the IGFs and have been shown to either inhibit or stimulate the growth promoting effects of the IGFs on cell culture. They alter the interaction of IGFs with their cell surface receptors. Promotes cell migration. Regulation of Insulin-like Growth Factor (IGF) transport and uptake by Insulin-like Growth Factor Binding Proteins (IGFBPs).
FormulationLyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution of PBS, pH7.4.
