Recombinant Human Deoxyhypusine Synthase/DHS (C-6His)
Recombinant Human Deoxyhypusine Synthase is produced by our E.coli expression system and the target gene encoding Met1-Asp369 is expressed with a 6His tag at the C-terminus. Bon Opus Cat. #C129
BackgroundHuman Deoxyhypusine Synthase (DHS) is vital for the first step of hypusine biosynthesis. DHS catalyzes the NAD-dependent oxidative cleavage of spermidine, the subsequent transfer of the butylamine moiety of spermidine to the epsilon-amino group of a specific lysine residue of the eIF-5A precursor protein to form the intermediate deoxyhypusine residue.
