Recombinant Human Polymeric Immunoglobulin Receptor/PIgR (C-Fc)

SKU: CI09-10ug
Recombinant Human Poly-Ig receptor is produced by our Mammalian expression system and the target gene encoding Lys19-Arg638 is expressed with a Fc tag at the C-terminus. Bon Opus Cat. #CI09
  • Accession Number

  • Background

PIGR binds polymeric IgA and IgM at the basolateral surface of epithelial cells. The complex is then transported across the cell to be secreted at the apical surface. During this process a cleavage occurs that separates the extracellular (known as the secretory component) from the transmembrane segment.
  • Expression

    Human Cells
  • Packaging

  • Formulation

    Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution of 20mM Tris,150mM NaCl,pH 8.0.
  • ALTnames

Polymeric Immunoglobulin Receptor, PIgR, Poly-Ig Receptor, Hepatocellular Carcinoma-Associated Protein TB6, PIGR
