LinkLight™ U2-OS GSK3B / β-arrestin Human Kinase Cell Line is a stable monoclonal cell line in U2-OS cells, targeting Human GSK3B pathway via b-arrestin. The proprietary LinkLight™ technology uses a standard Luciferase Assay as the detection method.
GSK3B is a serine-threonine kinase, belonging to the glycogen synthase kinase subfamily, and is involved in energy metabolism, neuronal cell development, and body pattern formation. Polymorphisms in this gene have been implicated in modifying risk of Parkinson disease, and studies in mice show that overexpression of this gene may be relevant to the pathogenesis of Alzheimer disease.
